Iscar at this time offers a family of high-performance slitting tools that couple the convenience and security of Tang-Grip clamping with the added strength of the new Sumo Tec insert grades.The concept, already confirmed effective in Tang-Grip parting tools, has now been spread to slitting cutters. IC928 and 928A, PVD TiAlN-coated tough grades suited for stainless steel, high temperature alloys and other alloy steels. These grades are likewise recommended for interrupted cuts and heavy operations.
Every Tangslit and Tang-Grip inserts are available in J- or C-type chipformer geometries from Iscar.
